----> Fighting --No power-playing and godmodding unless it has been agreed to do so by all parties. --Reset your defences in each post --Battles are to be judged by a mod (be sure to message one when fights occur!) --Battles should end within 5 to 10 post each wolf --Characters can be killed or permanently damaged --2 Dodges per character
---Powerplaying Define: Powerplaying is when you control both your character and your opponent's character. You can not control other people's character.
-Example- Bad- Fox A ran up to Fox B, pinning her down with her fangs on her neck, breaking her spine. Fox A went right in, pinning and biting Fox B, without giving Fox A a chance to react.
-Good- Fox A advanced toward Fox B, leaping up, trying to pound all her weight on Fox B. Her teeth bared, hoping to clamp down hard unto her neck. You see, Fox A's rp-er never stated that she did pin down or bite Fox B.
**The good way to avoid powerplaying is not to finish your attacks, let your opponent have a chance to react.
---
--Godmodding Define: This is when a person rps their character as the strongest, bravest, fastest and smartest wolf around. Half the time rp-ing their character 'knowing' their opponents next move and thoughts.
-Example- Bad- Fox A, fell back but quickly recovered in time for Fox B's next attack. He dodged it then countered with a bite towards his leg. See how Fox A is practically 'God', super powerful? This is a no-no!
-Good- Fox A fell back, getting up she was knock down again by Fox B's charge. In Fox B's grip at her shoulder, she bit at Fox B's ear, making Fox B let go. See how Fox A now fights more realistically?
---
---Defences -Ears pinned, tail tucked -Lowered body - Protect belly, lower chest -Lowered neck - Protect neck -Paws spreaded, stance spreaded - Helps with balance, makes it -harder to be pinned or knocked down -Scrunch neck - Helps protect throat
---
---Types of fight
--Spar - Usually a friendly battle for fun or training. Sometimes done to settle differences and arguments. --Mercy Fight - Can be done to settle fights over positions and mates or a type of fight. Mercy fights are fought until one gives up. --Death Fight - Can be done to settle fights over positions and mates or a type of fight. A fight to the death.
----> Breeding Rules --There can be 1 to 10 pups in a litter (The average is 4 to 6) --Anyone can breed, but if you belong to a pack you should get permission to breed. --You cannot breed at any time, wait for the correct season. --Your character must be atleast 1 year to breed (as it is in the wild). --Mating posts should not be descriptive. NO GRAPIHC BREEDING AT ALL. --After mating, post each character's stats on the Generations board. --Raping is not allowed. --Foxes 7 years or older are too old to breed. --Litters are born two season later. ---------------- ex: Parents mate in late winter ---> the litter is born mid-spring. **As a note, foxes don't fall in love instantly
----> Hunting --A single character can not take down a deer, moose or any large animal. There MUST be many many many fox to take down such a large animal. --A single fox can hunt a hare, bird, squirrel, or any smaller animal. --Prey does not magically appear when you need it, you have to actually search for prey --Fox can fish but it takes time. --Foxes are omnivorves. The eat berries, fruits, grasses and nuts as well as meat. --A large part of the fox's diet is made up invertebrates like crickets, caterpillars, grasshoppers, beetles and crayfish.
--- These rules are subject to additions and changes.
