The night sky above glittered with billions of glittering ice shards. They shone down on the land, lighting it in a bright silver glow. The full moon hung above in the sky, surrounded by the billions of glittering ice shards. It made everything brigher; it brought magic to the land of Faethor. The path continued to weave it's way through the Magic Forest, leading deeper into the unknown. However, the Magic Forest was safe. It wasn't as if some dark, unknown, spirit or ghost was haunting it. Or so, it wasn't rumored to be 'dangerous.'
The air slowly began to warm in the forest as I continued to walk down the dirt path; leaves began to color and fall from their branches. It was a nice change compared to the cold weather outside the Magic Forest. It had been worn down over the centuries, when others had came to visit the Magic Forest. It was said that the forest fed off your emotions, changing the seasons along with the weather which surrounded you. Nobody really beleived it until they had experienced it. I had yet to experience it fully, but the forest before my eyes was slowly changing, gradually, with every step I laid forth on the path.
My bleached white, tye-dyed marked wings laid at my sides. They were only five feet in length, not the longest. Finding someone with wings was difficult, finding someone who was tye-dyed was difficult; two tailed? Maybe. Mute? Perhaphs. And I was all of those in one big, small, package. Being mute however, was quite difficult, seeing as I had a shitload to say. But that had been taken care of by the spirits, and the ghosts, of course. They had granted me a power, similar to telepathy in a way, but stronger. I had nothing to complain about, honestly. I may not have been able to speak, but now others could hear what I had to say. Especially since I was still considered a 'pup' or 'kit' at my super age of six months.
My story wasn't like any other 'orphan' story. It usually began with 'My parents died; please take care of me. Don't leave me.' What a load of bullshit. I snorted, rolling my eyes. How could they act so stupid? Well, all in all, it was the stupid sonofabitches that ended up being at the bottom of the food chain. And their hearts were easy to manipulate and break. So, what? I had been a bad boy since my parents deserted me. Why should I care? Well actually, I had left them. I was still considered an 'ophan' and dumasses never got that I was a 'runaway.'
The forest quickly changed with my mood, the weather shifting to gray clouds. Slowly, rain began to pour from the heavens. A thunderstorm. It couldn't get any better than this. Jackass.
